Abersoch has always been highly rated for it's sailing and water sports, due to it's location at the top of Cardigan Bay, North Wales. But it isn't all about beach days and salty hair (although those are pretty amazing). At low tide you can explore rock pools and the inner harbour, as well as being able to walk across to The Warren.

St Tudwals first mentioned as a hotel in a newspaper article from 1873, probably the oldest pub in the village. The pub has been serving people ever since, nearly 150 years. Today the St Tudwals has 3 lounge areas, external terraces front & back. Fine home cooked food is available daily.
Quarry Beach. Accessed via a single-track road, via the coastal path or from The Warren, this wide sandy beach is simply stunning. Enjoy a paddle or dip in the shallow waters or simply sit on the rocks and watch the boats go by. It is a great spot to enjoy the sunrise and at low tide you will see the frequently photographed iconic remains of the old jetty.

Abersoch Watersports is based on the Llyn Peninsula in the village of Abersoch, North Wales. Machroes is a long, sandy beach located to the south of the town of Abersoch, and backed by the Abersoch Golf Club. You can walk form Abersoch Main Beach or it can be accessed by driving to Bwlchtocyn then heading down to the car park at the bottom of the headland.

Porth Tocyn is a long established Country House style hotel with a warm shabby chic feel to it; set in farm land overlooking Cardigan Bay, 2.5 miles beyond the centre of Abersoch. It is easily accessible to the main Abersoch beach but more importantly it is right on the new Wales National Coast footpath making it a great stop off spot for walkers who want to explore this wonderful local attraction.
The Vaynol has always been and remains at the heart of village life in Abersoch. This seaside pub offers something for everyone with a superbly stocked bar, an extensive menu offering locally produced & cooked dishes, a tasty pizza menu, and a traditional ice cream parlour.
Open all year round, The Vaynol is widely regarded as one of the most relaxed and friendliest of pubs in Abersoch.
Producing small-batch ice cream made on-site, using Welsh dairy and honest natural ingredients, Two Islands takes inspiration from traditional recipes using milk, cream, eggs and sugar. They also proudly serve Coaltown Coffee, roasted in Ammanford, South Wales.

Porth Neigwl or Hell's Mouth is a beautiful 4 mile long beach facing south west and directly out to the Irish Sea. With this the beach gets the brunt of any south westerly swells coming up from the Atlantic between Cornwall and southeast Ireland and can produce some of the most consistent waves in the UK. The beach attracts thousands of surfers every year.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Bathing is dangerous here, as on any beach that gets surf, with strong undertows and cross currents.

The Warren Beach is a fantastic long sandy beach that runs from Abersoch's outer harbour right up to the tip of Trwyn Llanbedrog (the headland). The Abersoch end of the beach is referred to locally as the Fach - and there is parking just outside Fach caravan park and access though the dunes oppisite.

The pretty, sandy cove of Porth Ceiriad is situated on a remote stretch of coast towards the end of the Llŷn Peninsula. Despite being one of the loveliest beaches in the area very few make (or manage to find) this somewhat hidden gem.
